Yatai Match

Yatai Match Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026. Last updated: October 16, 2026.

This policy explains how Xrete LLC ("Xrete", "we", "us") handles information when you play Yatai Match: Night Market Tiles (the "Game") on Android and, once it is released, on iOS. We keep the data we use to a minimum. You can play without giving us your name, email address, phone number, contacts or location.

At a glance

  • Your progress is saved on your device and, when you are online, backed up to Unity Gaming Services under a random player ID.
  • Ads are optional rewarded videos from Google AdMob. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.
  • Purchases are handled by Google Play (or Apple on iOS). We never see your card details.
  • Your optional nickname and your scores are visible to other players on leaderboards and to your friends.
  • We do not sell your personal information. You can delete your online account at any time in Settings > Account.

1. Information the Game collects

On your device

Level progress (Classic and Time Rush), stars, coins, boosters, lives, awards, Night Market and Lantern Race progress, Lucky Cat Bank savings, purchased items, settings (sound, haptics and accessibility options), a random player name and a random friend code. This stays on your device unless you use the online features below.

Online account (Unity Gaming Services)

When your device is online, the Game signs in anonymously to Unity Gaming Services, which Unity Technologies runs on our behalf, with a random player ID created for the Game. This is not your Google account, email address or phone number. We store with that ID:

  • a cloud copy of your progress and purchases (cloud save);
  • your nickname, if you choose one, and your best Classic level, Time Rush stars and awards (leaderboards);
  • your friends list, pending friend requests, which friend invited you (if you entered a code), your friend-request setting, and short in-game notices such as gifts and "accepted your request" messages (we keep the newest 50). There is no free-text chat.

Google Play Games (optional, Android)

If you link Google Play Games in Settings > Account, Google shares your Play Games player ID and display name with the Game, and we store the link between that ID and your game account so your progress, nickname and friends follow you to a new phone. Awards you unlock are also reported to Google Play Games as achievements.

Purchases

For coin packs, item bundles, the Lucky Cat Bank and Remove Ads, the Game receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play (or Apple on iOS): the product, a purchase token or receipt, a transaction ID and the time. We use it to deliver the item, restore purchases and prevent fraud. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Advertising data (Google AdMob)

To show, measure and protect rewarded ads, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (and a rough location derived from it), device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google's consent tool stores your ad privacy choices on your device.

Technical data

Unity and Google software in the Game may collect limited technical information, such as device model, operating system and app version, diagnostics and crash data, to provide and secure their services.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone data, and we do not ask for your real name, email address or phone number to play. When you tap Share or Invite Friends, your phone's own share menu opens with a ready-made message; we do not see who you send it to.

2. How we use information and our legal bases

  • Running the Game, saving and syncing progress, nicknames, leaderboards and friends: to provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract).
  • Delivering and restoring purchases: performance of a contract, and legal obligations for tax and accounting records.
  • Personalised ads in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Non-personalised ads, ad measurement and fraud prevention, security, preventing cheating and moderating nicknames: our legitimate interests in keeping the Game free to play, fair and safe.
  • Answering your emails: our legitimate interest in supporting players.

3. Ads and your choices

Yatai Match only shows rewarded ads that you choose to watch, for example for extra coins, a revive, an extra tray slot or extra time. We do not show ads you did not ask for, and ad content is limited to a PG rating. Buying Remove Ads gives you these rewards without watching ads.

If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the Game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in the Game's settings under Ad Privacy Choices. Elsewhere, you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your phone's settings (Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads). On iOS, the advertising identifier is only used if you allow tracking when Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks you.

5. When information is shared

  • With the service providers listed above, so they can run the features they provide.
  • With other players: your nickname and your best Classic level, Time Rush stars and awards appear on leaderboards and to your friends.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect players, the Game and our rights.
  • With a buyer or successor if Xrete or the Game is sold or reorganised, under this policy.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

6. How long we keep information

  • Data on your device is removed when you uninstall the Game, or when you reset your progress in its settings.
  • Online data is kept while you use the Game's online features. Settings > Account > Delete Account removes your online account immediately: nickname, friends, friend requests, messages, leaderboard scores and cloud save.
  • If you email us to delete your data, we do so within 30 days.
  • We keep limited purchase records for as long as the law requires.
  • Google and Unity keep the data they collect according to their own policies. Achievements already recorded in Google Play Games are managed in your Google account.

7. Children

Yatai Match is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, please ask a parent or guardian before using online features or making ad choices. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR): you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to how we use it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA) and other US states: you can ask to know what personal information we hold, and to correct or delete it. We do not sell personal information. Personalised advertising through Google AdMob may count as "sharing" under California law; you can opt out by turning off personalised ads in your phone's settings or in Ad Privacy Choices where the Game shows it.

To make a request, email us at the address below and include your friend code (Settings > Account) so we can find your account. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

9. International transfers and security

Xrete is based in the United States, and Unity and Google may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, those providers use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Data sent to online services is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect the information we handle.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, for example when we add a feature, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the Game or its store listing.
